Only K-12 schools in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma, EXCLUDING Texas Counties Nacogdoches, Shelby, San Augustine, Angelina, Trinity, Jasper, Sabine, Polk, Tyler, Newton, San Jacinto, Madison, Walker, Hardin, Brazos, Grimes, Montgomery, Liberty, Jefferson, Orange, Harris, Chambers, Galveston, Brazoria, Matagorda, Jackson, Lavaca, Wharton, Colorado, Fort Bend, Austin, Waller, Washington and Calhoun, that are enrolled in Fuel Up to Play 60 (FUTP60)  are eligible to apply for this contest. Program Advisors and student team must work with their cafeteria manager to choose and execute a recipe featuring yogurt.


To apply complete the application, including the following submissions:
 

  1. A standardized recipe featuring yogurt that meets National School Lunch, National School Breakfast, or USDA Smart Snacks guidelines. Recipe should be in single serve quantity. 
  2. A photo of your FUTP60 student team making, taste-testing and/or promoting the recipe to their peers
  3. A written explanation, drafted by you and your student team, of how the recipe is nutritionally beneficial.  (refer to science-based nutrition resource at  https://www.dairydiscoveryzone.com/yogurt for any assistance)
